Job Description – Bristol Warehouse Operative/ Driver
Remuneration:
Starting at £11,992pa
Reporting to:
Warehouse Supervisor
Responsible for:
None
Skills/Training:
- Full Driving Licence (less than 3 points) and five years driving experience – Digital Tachograph Card to drive up to 7.5t MGW Vehicle an advantage;
- Forklift Licence/Training – current;
Main Duties:
- Responsible to the Warehouse Supervisor for the efficient and safe operation of the Warehouse, including:
- Auditing/Transfer Recording –recording all collections in-bound as they arrive at the Warehouse and completing of related transfer paperwork on the ‘in-house’ paper/computer system;
- Dismantling – breaking down of electric and electronic material as instructed by Warehouse Supervisor/Management;
- Driving Duties – To drive company vehicles (within limits of driving licence and qualification) to carry out collections and transfers as demanded by the business including the completion of accurate ‘Tachograph’/ timesheet records as per VOSA/Ministry for Transport regulations;
- Any other general warehouse duties as reasonably requested by managemenet in the operation of the warehouse;
