TEWC take Data Security extremely seriously. We have secure vehicles, asset tracking systems for each data carrying item using a barcode tracking system for accountable assets, as well as trained drivers and secure transportation from point of collection to our data destruction facility where we take in the items, audit them and destroy the data.

Also available are secure courier network to help reduce costs, improve on security and help with the speed of collections.

What is Data Erasure?

Data erasure is a method of software-based overwriting that completely destroys all electronic data residing on a hard drive or other digital media to ensure that no sensitive data is leaked when an asset is retired or reused.

TEWC use certificated software systems for data destruction as well as physical degaussing and shredding techniques where warranted. The Electronic Waste Company Ltd are the company of choice for a number of clients requiring sensitive data destruction including Police Forces, the MoD, NHS trusts, Colleges and Schools. In addition, other IT companies outsource us for their own data destruction projects.

The Electronic Waste Company Ltd are working towards two new ISO standards for client data management and security: ISO 27001 and ISO 20000. We are currently investing in new server and data transfer methods using some of the most technologically advanced security systems available for modern day network infrastructures.
